Ears

On the dome of the dalek are two 'ears'. Had to source the ears (beakers) - I wanted the originals. As for lights, a huge investigation! This section goes into some madness detail on how the ears were constructed and then attached to the dome. Of course, the end result is the ears lighting up when the dalek yells 'Exterminate' or something like that...

First, lets show some of the components used to build up the ears. And no, I am not going to list them exactly - if you want to find out get the plans :)

Next, mark the positions on the dome where the lights will go

Next, construct the light holders and fit to dome

Then, time to setup a wire test for the lights against a sound system - worked a treat!
